I am still bootcamping. It is now earlier and longer, and followed by a spin class I signed up for because I am sometimes foolish. Saturdays are hard. These people are superhuman.
Now for the superficial part:
I got some delicious treasures at the Ottawa Capital Clothing Sale. Last time I was there, I picked up this incredible dress from Louisje and Bean for a steal. It is ridiculous I have not yet posted these pictures. I wear this dress ALL. THE. TIME.
This time, no luck with clothes. But plenty with gorgeous costume jewelry. I also had a nice chat with lovely Melissa Lafreniere, from (duh) Montreal, whose Missy Industry studio may just be the excuse I need to get back to 514. Or else I can just shop at her Etsy shop. Because every girl needs a little bit of rock and roll. (My favourite pieces are NOT online, but she’ll be at the Signatures craft sale in October, which is CONVENIENTLY close to my birthday, Darcy.)
À la what I wore
When:
Saturday, September 19
What:
Jacket: Free People
Jeans: Dish, skinny.
Shoes: Sketchers, grey flats / Zara, stiletto black strappy things. Now, I’m giving D-man a free pass on this one, because he is ADORABLE, but the real reason for the shoe change is that he had done the first round of photos on this outfit PRIOR to a haircut I was on the way to. Post-haircut, he met me at the door with three pairs of shoes because damnit, girl, you look better in heels. And I DO believe that he in no way intended to imply that I look FAT in FLATS.
Ring: Silver ring, Bijou Treasures, Winnipeg, gift from Mom

That’s the dress you had on at BOLO, right? It’s even more amazing in person.
And wait, your hubby actually thought to bring you shoes to change into? THREE PAIRS? I don’t even know how to process that.
You look stunning as always, Kym.
LOVE. IT. You are my fashion hero!
Kimu says: Oh, Winter. You are my hero, PERIOD.
Kym==You know I am a scant blog poster, but a) thank-you for my earrings and watch (I WILL NOT lose your necklace!!!), and b) that jacket looks AWESOME.
