I’m Kym

I work for an institution I believe in.  I write exceptionally well.

My Master-level thesis project was a Memorandum to Cabinet recommending a tax incentive for hybrid vehicles.  In 2004, it merited an A-, because it was cost prohibitive.  In 2007, it became a real thing.  I had nothing to do with that.

I want to be like Hemingway.  I tend to side with Faulkner.

I’m versed enough online to take Twitter seriously. (But not too seriously.)

Good manners are more important than good genes.

I’m very comfortable rejecting convention.

And I am utterly addicted to travel.

Vital statistics: Prairie-born, Ottawa-based.  Into photography, politics, people and travel.  Seen 31 countries.  Speak Japanese.
